Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S12 series on Sept. 30, 2026. The Ultra measures 5.1mm thick, which Samsung says makes it its thinnest Galaxy Tab yet.
Both tablets use the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, run Android 17 with One UI 9 and come with the S Pen in the box. A redesigned 3D vapor chamber handles cooling, and both models are rated IP68.
The Ultra has a 14.6-inch, 2960 x 1848 Dynamic AMOLED 2X display; the S12+ has a 12.6-inch, 2800 x 1752 panel with slimmer bezels than before. Both run at up to 120Hz with peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and both have four-channel spatial audio.
Samsung lists batteries of 11,600 mAh (Ultra) and 10,600 mAh (S12+), both with 45W charging. The Pro Keyboard and Book Cover Keyboard Slim are sold separately.
The release says the series will be available from Oct. 7 in select markets but does not list U.S. pricing or a U.S.-specific date. We will update this story when Samsung publishes them.
